Eye and General Health Camps by Priyadarshini Organization

In Collaboration with Centre for Sight Hospital & St. Theresa’s Hospital, Hyderabad

As part of its commitment to community well-being and inclusive healthcare, Priyadarshini has actively conducted free Eye and General Health Camps in collaboration with Centre for Sight Hospital, Ramanthapur and St. Theresa’s Hospital, Sanath Nagar, Hyderabad.
These health initiatives aim to bring quality medical services directly to underprivileged and underserved communities, especially those who lack access to routine healthcare due to financial, social, or geographical barriers.


🎯 Objectives of the Health Camps:

  • To provide free diagnosis and treatment for common eye and general health problems
  • To create awareness about preventive healthcare practices
  • To promote early detection of diseases, especially among the elderly, women, and children
  • To support health equity by extending services to slum dwellers, daily wage laborers, and rural populations

A nationally renowned eye care center, provided expert ophthalmologists and staff for:
Eye screening for cataracts, glaucoma, and vision problems
Free spectacles distribution for patients with refractive errors
Referrals for surgeries or advanced treatment where needed

2.St. Theresa’s Hospital, Sanath Nagar
A trusted institution in general healthcare, offered:
o General health checkups including BP, sugar, and BMI
o Medical consultations for women, children, and senior citizens
o Basic lab investigations, free medicines, and health counselingReferrals for surgeries or advanced treatment where needed
o Eye screening for cataracts, glaucoma, and vision problems

  • Hundreds of beneficiaries screened and treated during each camp

As part of our COVID Frontline Workers – Basic Care Support program under PMKVY Scheme, our trained candidates actively participated in a Fight Cancer Awareness and Screening Camp, showing their commitment to public health beyond COVID response.
