Priyadarshini is actively partnering with the Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA) to implement skill
development programs across urban and semi-urban areas in Telangana & Andhra Pradesh.
These initiatives focus on empowering unemployed youth and women from economically disadvantaged communities by equipping them with vocational
skills and linking them to sustainable livelihood opportunities.

- To uplift urban poor families by creating employment and income-generating avenues
- To empower urban youth and women through skill certification
- To promote self-employment and micro-enterprises in tailoring and beauty services
๐งต Job Roles Covered under MEPMA Collaboration:
1. Self-Employed Tailor
These initiatives focus on empowering unemployed youth and women from economically disadvantaged communities by equipping them with vocational skills and linking them to sustainable livelihood opportunities.
- Start home-based tailoring units
- Work in boutiques or tailoring shops
- Take up customized stitching orders from the community
2. Sewing Machine Operator
This program equips trainees with the skills to:
- Operate industrial sewing machines
- Work in garment factories, apparel export units, or stitching centers
- Follow production efficiency, quality, and safety standards
3. Beauty Assistant
A popular course among urban women, this job role focuses on:
- Basic skin and hair care services
- Salon hygiene and customer handling
- Opportunities in salons, wellness centers, or independent beauty service providers
